Burley Library / Co-op planning application

The planning application for the co-op / Burley Library proposal is now available to view at:

http://www.planning4bradford.com/online-applications/applicationDetails.do?activeTab=summary&keyVal=LRAOTUDHC1000

A copy will also be made available in the Library.

If you are planning to comment, please remember:

  • all objections or letters of support must be on planning grounds – whether or not you want the co-op is not a relevant planning issue, nor is what might happen to the old co-op building.
  • all comments MUST be sent directly to Bradford Council. You can do this using the planning portal (above link) or by post.
  • please COPY your comments to Burley Parish Council (parishclerk@burley-in-wharfedale.org) and myself.
  • If you have comments on non-planning issues, I’d be pleased to receive them and will discuss them with the Libraries Service

Moor Lane

The works to install the replacement measures on Moor Lane in Burley are now scheduled to take place during the week commencing Monday 24th October.

I am advised that, given the narrowness of the road at some points, temporary road closures will sometimes be required between 09:30 and 16:00 hours.

The construction of the speed table at the junction with Hag Farm Lane will also cause some inconvenience to the residents of the 18 homes there. Highways will be writing to these homes to keep residents informed.
